Engine 829 was alerted for a first due house fire at 5709 Gloria Drive bringing Engine 829 and Chief 829A. Engine 829 arrived on the scene with a two story single family dwelling with fire showing from side Charlie. The engine crew from 829 went to work stretching a 400 ft attack line and tried to make an aggressive attack on the fire but due to the wind blowing at an excess of 40 mph or more, the fire was blowing up from the Basement into Division One behind the original line. The crews were pulled out to regroup and was sent back in to check for extension and mop up.

Meanwhile a crew was back manning Truck 829, and was dispatch on a box in Company 821’s area and 3 med locals.  Also the crew covered the ambulance which ran numerous calls.

Thanks to the Volunteer crew that came up and staffed the Truck and Ambulance.
